Mnagusta House
2019-2020
Mangusta House is a 2,500 sq. ft., three-story residence located in the gated community of Friday Harbour Resort overlooking the marina on Lake Simcoe. The project was completed by One x One Design, where I served as lead designer.
The residence includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a laundry room, and two custom powder rooms finished with natural stone. The main living and lounge areas combine marble surfaces with grey wall paneling, complemented by a sleek modern bar and wine cellar.
Large windows across the first and second floors introduce abundant natural light into the interior spaces. A distinctive reflected ceiling plan and lighting strategy, developed in collaboration with lighting designers, adds depth and visual rhythm throughout the house.
The interior palette of grey and khaki tones, paired with wood and brass finishes, creates a refined and contemporary atmosphere that aligns with the surrounding resort environment while reflecting the client’s vision.
Modern Lake House
2016-2018
A 5,000 sq. ft. luxury lake house located in the gated community of Friday Harbour Resort overlooking the marina on Lake Simcoe. The project was completed by One x One Design, where I served as lead designer.
The design establishes a dialogue between the natural landscape and the modern resort lifestyle through the use of rich materials and dramatic spatial elements. Key features include metal inlays within a 21-foot natural stone wall, an upside-down tree chandelier, and a ceiling made from 300-year-old reclaimed elm.
Natural and artificial light were used as design elements to create depth and texture throughout the interior. The residence is equipped with advanced smart-home technology, enhancing comfort while maintaining a refined contemporary aesthetic.
Lady Peel House- Toronto
2012
Custom kitchen millwork designed for the Lady Peel Residence, a contemporary home in downtown Toronto designed by RZLB Architecture. The design features a sleek, modern aesthetic with high-gloss white cabinetry, clean lines, and integrated modern appliances.
The kitchen emphasizes minimalism, precision, and functionality, creating a refined space that reflects contemporary urban living while maintaining a bright and elegant atmosphere.
